Rockwell Kitchen follows all food safety guidelines established by the Los Angeles Department of Public health in accordance with the FDA in relation to Covid-19. Currently there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with transmission of COVID-19. Unlike foodborne gastrointestinal (GI) viruses like norovirus and hepatitis A that often make people ill through contaminated food, SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, is a virus that causes respiratory illness. Food-borne exposure to this virus is not known to be a route of transmission.
Our employees have been provided with masks and gloves, and will be required to wear them at all times during work hours. All employees receive daily temperature and health assessment tests. This will help us be able to follow our employees well-being on a daily basis. Under no circumstances will any employee be allowed to work should they become symptomatic. Our employee's and customer's safety is our number one priority!
